APRIL CHAOS
Spring storms for days and nights and days again. Trees doubled over in the last of winters winds. Each cloud speeding overhead has a different definition of rainfall. Blue sky teases briefly then back to gray and wet. The ground is soaked, saturated. The baby trees get stronger with each gust of wind. The seeds sprout by the millions. Sleeping perennials have come out to see what all the fuss is about.
Chaos presses against my comfort. Forcing me to wake up and take notice. Silly to think I would slip comfortably from winter sleep to sunny warmth. Growth requires chaos.
