Last Day Open on Commerce

Well, I've cleaned and cleared just about every nook and cranny in the back of the shop and decided to open up for one final day to see if I can't sell off the last batch of wood shelving, tables, chairs, boxes, cases and odds & ends before I pack off the merchandise and say a fond farewell to the beauty of the building that was my temporary shelter for the last 2 1/2 years.
I had the chance to drive the bus yesterday and you just couldn't wipe the smile off my face.
The weather's fine, I'm already lining up some events and things are going smoothly.
I was reminded yesterday that the weather starts getting chilly the second week in September so insulating the bus is top on the "to do" list.

It was just by chance that I drove past the store today and even though I was headed to the office, I stomped on the brakes and went to see why there were yellow papers in your window. I hate to see your store disappear, but I'm glad I got to inhale your incense one more time and help you clear out some of those wooden shelves. I have bookmarked you blog, so I'll keep up with you online.

Thank you for keeping me in the loop. I'm only sorry I wasn't aware of what happened sooner; I lost my job the same day you lost your lease.

L-word you dearly, and I will be watching. Let me know when you're in town so we can have tea or something.
