How Do We Maintain Good Health ?

The simplest way to answer this question is with the following list:
  • Laugh a lot, particularly at yourself

  • Keep busy when it's necessary and do nothing when it's needed.

  • Do most things in moderation and some things in excess.

  • Keep a positive outlook, even when the crap hits the fan.

  • Remember that, like plants we need crap to grow.

  • Too much crap is not good for plants or people.

  • Feed your body and your mind.

  • Eat well, drink lots of liquids and get plenty of exercise.

  • Sometimes eat bad food, drink wine and lie on the couch.

  • Never smoke anything bad for you.

  • Never wear clothes when you don't have to.

  • If you have a good voice, sing to honor spirit.

  • If you don't have a good voice, sing to get even.

  • If you drink and drive, you're a bloody idiot.

  • Think of others before yourself, but don't forget yourself.

  • Self-control is not always a good thing. Lose it sometimes.

  • Destroy destructive things and nourish nourishing things.

  • Get up before the sun and spend an hour meditating.

  • Stay up late and don't get out of bed before noon.

  • Have lots of sex when you're young.

  • Have lots of sex when you're older.

  • Never stop learning in life and about life.

  • Read this list every day and add to it when necessary.
