I've been on the phone for days trying to locate some Saturday Markets that will let in "folks like me" and discovering many have fizzled into oblivion. No more Saturday Downtown Longview Market, no more Kalama Market, can't seem to get an answer from St Helen's about their Nights on the River Market .... this creates a dilemma for me ...... SOAPBOX Please .......
I'm fed up with market "managers" that require submission to a long list of rules and regulations ANd THen want to charge me a small fortune for a table space in their risky market. Wake up !!! It's the vendors and musicians that bring the people in. YEs, I know you're just trying to cover your costs. YEs I know the city is not co-operating and requiring expensive permits. Why can't we all just get along !!! Cities- get your head out of your ass, market managers - wise up ... we all just wanna have fun ...... without being controlled by smallminded analretentive jerks that suck the life out of everything in their path ....whew, THat felt GOod.
Did I mention I've been managing neck and back pain for the last week ?, it's made me a little grumpy. .... no outdoor markets makes me grumpy ..... yesterday the dog sh*t in my car ANd a bug flew up my nose ..... grumpy ..... lol .....
Well, now that's off my chest I can make room for something new .......

I know I should be a little more sensitive being your sister and all but I laughed my head off at the last straw...."the dog sh** in the car and a blug flew up my nose.
